Data Extraction
Electronic Data Extraction (EDE) is the process whereby specified data is electronically extracted from various formats such as a legacy system, access, excel, flat files, XML, SAP or any other existing back office system. After this the data is transferred to an alternative destination system(s), such as a new back office or any other RDBMS or excel.
Transfer through EDE can either be direct, if possible, into the new place. If required, a thin slice application compatible with the new destination
